Maquoketa Valley Students Hosting MV Market at Delhi Park

You can do some shopping at the Delhi City Park this afternoon.

The Maquoketa Valley CTE department is hosting their third annual MV Market. Student Landin Frasher says the MV Market has a goal of providing students with the opportunity to develop products, market them, and sell to customers in a farmers market setting.

Fellow students Lainey Knipper and Leah Reicher say they’ll have a variety of products available for sale today.

The Maquoketa Valley FFA chapter & Horticulture II class will have hanging baskets and vegetable plants at the market and the FCS classes will have various sweets and snacks to choose from – such as mini bundt cakes and cookies, as well as hats & T-shirts ready to be pressed. The business classes have various stickers and window clings that students in the Introduction to Business class designed. And the Industrial Technology students have created indoor home decor, cutting boards, key and coat hooks, and much more!

The MV Market runs from 2:30 to 6 pm today at the Delhi City Park. Proceeds go back to MV to help students continue their career and technical educations.
