Westbound Highway 20/136 Ramp in Dyersville Closing for Roadwork

Roadwork is coming up in the Dyersville area next month.

Westbound traffic leaving Dyersville on U.S. 20 from the Highway 136 ramp will need to be aware of an upcoming ramp closure.

The Iowa DOT Manchester construction office says the westbound entrance ramp for U.S. 20 will temporarily close starting Tuesday, April 2nd so repairs can be made to the U.S. 20 bridge over Highway 136. The work will include patching and overlays for the bridge deck.

The road work is expected to last until late May, weather permitting,

To travel around the work zone, drivers will be directed east on U.S. 20 to Farley and then turn around at the Farley interchange before returning on westbound U.S. 20. Thru traffic on westbound U.S. 20 will be maintained in the left lane.

The DOT encourages everyone to drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones.
