Manchester Police Warning Public of New Phone Scam

The Manchester Police Department is warning the public of a new phone scam.

Police say residents in nearby counties have reported receiving a call from a person posing as the County Attorney.

The caller advises the resident that they have missed jury duty and demands payment of a fine.

Police say the County Attorney will never call a resident demanding payment of a fine. If you receive such a call, they advise you to just hang up.
