The Manchester Chamber will be hosting their annual “EmpowHer” Women’s Night event later this month.
On Wednesday night, September 29th, women from the area are welcome to come to the Delaware County Fairgrounds Pavilion from 5:30 to 8:30 pm for a meal, vendors, raffle, a motivational speaker and the announcement of the 2022 Woman of the Year.
This year’s speaker will be Andrea Mausser, a certified health and life coach. She’s also the creator of Choose Your Journey.
The theme will be “Get Connected”, with a variety of networking opportunities to make new friends. The meal will be catered by J&D Mart, and local vendors will have demonstrations and shopping opportunities.
Nominations for Woman of the Year are open and will remain open until all the nomination spots are filled. The Manchester Area Woman of the Year should possess qualities that have helped improve the quality of life for the residents and communities of the Manchester area. She has shown passion and dedication and has put her time, energy, and skills to use in community enrichment, growth, and care. She has been selfless in her actions through business development, community leadership, personal inspiration, or volunteerism among other roles. The award was created in 2019, with past Woman of the Year winners including Shirley Helmrichs and Mindi Jackson. Tickets for the Women’s Night event are $25 and are available at the Manchester Chamber office and online.
