The City of Peosta held a special election on Tuesday to fill a vacant seat on their city council.
Brian Schatz won the seat with 84 votes. Wesley Wedewer came in second with 19, while Eric Ostermann came in third with 18. There were also 25 write-in votes.
Nearly 10% of Peosta’s registered voters turned out for the election.
