Buchanan County Hog Farmer Joins Ernst in Joint Session

A Buchanan County hog farmer was invited to be U.S. Senator Joni Ernst’s guest on Thursday during a joint session of Congress. 

Senator Ernst says Japan understands the quality and care that comes with Iowa pork. The country is our third largest export destination and second leading export market for pork products. 

Ernst says as a member of the Senate Ag Committee, she’ll continue pushing to pass a five-year Farm Bill “focused on the farm”.
