Plagman Barn Show Days

September 19

Northeast Iowa Farm Antique Association/Plagman Barn Show Days will be held Friday through Sunday, September 19th through the 21st at 28384 Garber Road. Demonstrations daily from 10 am to 5 pm, along with an antique machinery display, live music, food, tractor and horse pull and more. Camping available. Check out plagmanbarn.com.

Western Dubuque Wingfest

September 20

The Western Dubuque Fine Arts Booster Club will host Wingfest on Saturday, September 20th at the Farley Park. Gates open at 11 am. Wing cooking competition, with wings served at 11 am and the judging at 2 pm. There will also be a wing eating competition, classic car show, kids’ games, performances from current and former WD Choir and Band members. Beverages and concessions available. Proceeds will benefit the Western Dubuque Fine Arts Booster Club.

Delaware County Jail Project Open House

Delaware County Sheriff John LeClere will host an Open House of the Delaware County Jail and Sheriff’s Office on Saturday, September 27th from 9 am to 3 pm. The Open House will allow the public to see the current conditions of the jail and Sheriff’s Office and hear why officials believe a renovated and expanded jail and Sheriff’s Office are needed.
